"I became more socially interactive to all persons who I encounter and it lead to a way to know how God loves me despite of struggling for 16 years."
In most places in the Philippines, Elementary or High School years is like a jungle, and sometimes, it could be very challenging for a Teenager. Those are the years where bullying, name calling, and other kind of childish stuff happen everyday. And it's more challenging for Teenager who grew up with only One Eye.
This is a story of a teenager, who grew up only having one eye, where part of his challenges included having difficulty making eye-to-eye contact, loss of confidence, being teased, and also, having a hard time with his Visual Field, and how an Artificial Eye was able to solve some of his difficulties. You will be surprise how he treated the 16 years of having one eye as a blessing and all the very important lessons it came with it.
"Inborn po siya at nagkaroon po ng failure ang mother ko during her 9 months of pregnancy. Nakainom po siya ng gamot which is restricted sabi ng Doctor niya kaya naapektuhan po ako.
When I was in elementary, hindi naman po ako gaanong bothered sa eye ko kasi hindi pa po ako gaanong conscious sa sarili ko. Normal pa rin naman po yung life ko way back then. Socially, emotionally and physically affected ako dahil sobrang limited lang ng mga friends ko and I can't react the right way sa mga tao kasi nahihiya ako sa sarili ko because I am physically incomplete.
Natatakot akong humarap sa tao directly, I cannot look them in the eye, I am afraid of selfies, I am shy of taking ID pictures tapos ayaw na ayaw kong nalalait pero hindi ito umiiwas sa akin.
Although I am trying to be happy as I can, maging energetic lang palagi pero I am still imbalanced because of my case. It helped me to the highest. It completely changed my life positively because I can now do the things I couldn't do, I can do the things that I'm afraid of, I can do the things freely with no fear. The artificial eye became one of my instruments to become a new person physically and emotionally.
It also gained me a boost in energy through my daily living, I became more socially interactive to all persons who I encounter and it leads a way to know how God loves me despite of struggling for 16 years.
It gives me a lot of confidence, a lot of hope, a lot of belief in yourself, a lot of trust and a lot of love of course. Malugod kong pinasasalamatan si Bishop Mallari and you Doc Mark, sobrang salamat po sa inyong dalawa. BIG PLOT TWIST PO NG 2017 ko to, one of the best experience in my life."
